Merlot is 16 hands and a gorgeous chestnut that almost has a metallic sheen like a penny. She is good to groom and tack, though she wiggles her head around when bridling, she is not evading it, just moves her head a lot. She has been ridden English W,T,C, and small cross rails and has also been trail ridden in Western tack, though she does not fully neck rein. She is 14 years old, the perfect age to get them. She has had full medical work-ups including x-rays and is UTD on everything ie. shots, coggins, teeth, farrier, worming. Her only medical issue is that her hocks have fused, this causes her no discomfort and her only limitation is no high jumping and no jumping often. She would be a great horse for an intermediate rider as she is a bit forward, though totally respects the aids. She does not like to be alone....that is her only vice. She is for adoption with reference check and contract to good home only.
